Dental Nurses
All of our dedicated team of nurses are here to facilitate your care. Each nurse follows our own advanced training program in the latest techniques for cosmetic and reconstructive treatments after first completing the national dental nursing qualification.
Customer Services Team
Our customer service team are often your first point of contact with L & H dentalcare. We have experienced receptionists and administrators here at the practice who are all trained to our high standards in customer care. They have a good understanding of the treatments provided here and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

At L&H dentalcare we think it is important to work together to improve the way we do things for you. So we set aside the first Wednesday of the month for Staff Training. This updates our whole team in key areas of caring for you better.
All of our dentist have gained further qualifications which help us to keep up to date with the latest techniques and treatments.
Our hygienists and dental nurses also attend regular courses on important subjects such as Management of Periodontal Disease and Infection Control, this helps enhance the quality of care we give to our patients.

The practice has appointed a ‘lead infection control nurse’ whose role is to attend courses and educate the team with the most up to date Infection Control advice. By making sure we are following all of the policies and guidelines we can deliver the best standards for patients.
In 2019 we built our 2 room LDU. Our gold standard LDU is used for cleaning and sterilising our instruments providing the best quality in patient care.
The BDA Good Practice is the highest standard of clinical governance in dentistry in the UK. There are 103 guidelines that must be adhered to which means that our practice is run efficiently and follows best practice.
At L&H Dentalcare we’re committed to providing you with the highest standard of care and were the first practice in Scotland to win the award in 2002. In 2011 we were awarded with the highest level, BDA Gold Membership.
Having experience tooth issues, I was asked to consider a dental implant bridge. My initial thoughts were to think about it, but I decided to proceed. The end result is well worth the time and expense. The implant is excellent and although it takes time for the treatment, I am extremely happy with the end result.
Having put it off for years, I have just completed treatment to straighten my lower teeth. From the initial consultation to the final check up, everything has been fantastic.
