Phil qualified from Liverpool University in 1995. He joined L&H in 1996 after a year completing his VT training in Grangemouth.
After several years developing interests in cosmetic and gentle dentistry he started a 2-year, part-time MSc in Primary Dental Care in Glasgow which he completed successfully in 2004. During this time, he gained experience in reconstructive techniques including advanced restorative and smile makeovers. He gained his MJDF from the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2010. He was accepted into the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow in 2015.
He is a member the PREP Panel, a group of 25 UK dentists who report on new products and techniques in conjunction with Prof Burke from Birmingham Dental School. Phil has lectured across the UK to dentists, showing them the latest techniques in placing cosmetic white fillings.
Phil is married to Mary with 1 daughter, Ella. In his spare time he enjoys music, tennis, swimming and walking with his dog Bobby.

Having experience tooth issues, I was asked to consider a dental implant bridge. My initial thoughts were to think about it, but I decided to proceed. The end result is well worth the time and expense. The implant is excellent and although it takes time for the treatment, I am extremely happy with the end result.
Having put it off for years, I have just completed treatment to straighten my lower teeth. From the initial consultation to the final check up, everything has been fantastic.
