Sophie qualified from University of Glasgow in 2020 with commendation. She achieved her MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow in 2021.
She completed an implant restorative course in 2022 which allows her to restore implants once they are surgically placed.
Since the age of four, Sophie has always wanted to be a dentist, even when all her friends were wanting to be ballerinas or princesses.
Sophie joined L&H in September 2023 after working in a practice in Coatbridge for 3 years. She is no stranger to the practice however, as she had been attending a monthly study group with the team since 2022.
Outside of dentistry, Sophie enjoys spending time with her friends and family (mainly the family dog), going to the gym and travelling (ie. Sipping cocktails in the sun).
L & H Dentalcare has been a prevention-orientated dental practice since the 1970s. It’s our aim to keep your teeth and gums healthy so you require fewer treatments.
Having experience tooth issues, I was asked to consider a dental implant bridge. My initial thoughts were to think about it, but I decided to proceed. The end result is well worth the time and expense. The implant is excellent and although it takes time for the treatment, I am extremely happy with the end result.
Having put it off for years, I have just completed treatment to straighten my lower teeth. From the initial consultation to the final check up, everything has been fantastic.
